Greetings from Guatemala, Well we did not do a newsletter for May because we went to Texas, and wow that was great, to see family and friends, Very proud for our two grandsons who graduated from Ira High School. So here it is mid June and time for a newsletter. It is the rainy season now and has been raining ever we got here. The teachers at the school missed us and had a nice lunch for us and welcomed us back. We have been doing some touch up and finish paint work on Pat and Charlie’s house and some plumbing work at the school. Two days after we got back from the states, Tuesday the 3rd., Joy in Jesus team came and held a two day conference for the missionary ladies here in Guatemala, There were about 17 women that attended. Georgette got to be a part of this and said she had a great time. The team was actually here for six days and got to visit a coffee plantation on Wednesday and after the conference on Sunday , they went to church with us then out to Lunch, then up to the restoration center for some praise and worship, to look at the work being done there and to prayer walk the area. The ladies went to the school and had devotional with the kids and then prayer walked the school grounds We took them to the airport early Monday.

The very next day, A medical team from Gateway Church in the Dallas area, came with a team of 34 professionals: Doctors, Nurses, Massage therapist, and a team of puppeteers with a clown for the kids. Each child was seen and given medicine if needed. They saw a total of 117 students from the school. We had lunch with them and then they were on their way. The school was their last stop on this particular mission trip for this group. Alot of the members of this team we had met last year while we were here in June. It was good to see them again and also to get to meet some new friends. We are so thankful for the great work that they do in such a short period of time.

The next team will be here July the third they are from Stonegate in Midland they are the last team for the summer. After that, we will be getting ready for Church Builders the third week in July. We are going to Trenton Texas this year. We are praying that my Mom will be getting better so she can go this year.
