Hello all, school started January 14th in spite of the fact that the second level wasn’t completely finished two of the class rooms being used still need to be painted inside and out, but they are holding classes in them anyway. We finished building the safety railings for the upper level and have a coat of primer on them, but still need to put a finishing coat on them.

School is going well with 115 students enrolled this year, we had the privilege of attending the opening ceremony. Charlie spoke and welcomed new students and parents. The children were excited about the newly painted swing set. There are new students this year who are still in need of sponsors, If interested contact www. hisappointedtime.com. They are also taking donations for floor tile for the classrooms, cost for one classroom and outside hallway is 800.00 dollars, This would be a good opportunity for churches Sunday school classes, youth groups, to help, again contact www.hisappointedtime.com.

We have started working up on the mountain, we are preparing to build guard rails for the prayer garden. The vegetable crop on the mountain consisted of broccoli, lettuce, cauliflower, onions, corn, & black beans, which had already been harvested when we came, which have been given away, Charlie has given it away to widows, orphanages, and the poor in the community, Teachers and workers on the mountain received some also. There were 2,700 pounds of corn harvested which have yet to be given away. The land is being prepared for the next crop. We moved the cargo trailer that we moved down here in, up to the mountain and parked it next to the retreat center and it is being used as storage for building supplies it will be very convenient for the workers when they start on the floor tile.

There are already several mission teams scheduled for this year. Paul Ann Baptist has two teams coming one inMarch and another in April. Then First Baptist Houston coming in April with a Medical team. Joy in Jesus Ministry in June, Then Stonegate Midland ( Ladies) in July. Georgette and I will be helping with these teams while they are here. But I am sure there are available times for you to come and visit if you are interested, Just let us know. We are taking Spanish classes three days a week from one of the teachers at the school her name is Dule Maria. She is the second grade teacher and we stay after school lets out and she gives us our lessons. We have home work every night. We are determined to learn the language. This is our third week and we feel like it is helping, we have already learned alot.

We are going to the Capital to start our paperwork for residency, which we received last week from the states thanks to alot of hard work by Debbie Smith, The main purpose for filing for residency is to get us off of the tourist visa, so we will not have to keep going to the frontier every 45 days.

We already have plans to come home in May, as we have two grandsons graduating from Ira high school hope to see alot of you then. (Philippians 1:3-6) I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

In his Love Bob & Georgette
